Here, read this, its about a demon queen that killed half the world population and plans to kill the hero while making him think that she is a normal person, but along the way she fells in love with him and he will love her.

One that I've just starting reading is Mahou Tsukai no Yome. It's quite good, especially if you like western folklore.

Monster Musume is fun
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - "Kono Watashi no Mono Tonare, Yuusha yo" "Kotowaru!", in which the demon queen is trying to prevent slaughter instead of causing it.

This is a pretty common theme in manga, but one of my favorites is probably Spice and Wolf. There's the original light novel, but also an anime and manga adaptations, so you have your choice of media.
