This manga is actually really good. I believed myself to had grown out of the comedy, ecchi, harem, style mangas, and thought I was all for the more serious seinen tone, but I came across this while bored and searching for something on a lower tier manga site and this manga had a decent amount of chapters and a high rating. So I said, "Why not?" and I gave it a shot.

It didn't have the sexiest art work in the beginning, and I'm sure if I began reading it a few chapters after its initial release that I may have dropped it, but this manga just gets more interesting and more interesting as it progress. With cliche comedy and ecchi scenes, to the cliche romance development, this manga provides and continues to deliver at its best. With a pretty interesting cast of characters, a very like-able MC who doesn't disappoint, and really good character development, this is a great manga. Unless all you do is read ecchi-harem-comedies, shit...even if all you DO is read ecchi-harem-comedies, this should not disappoint you. I had a long break from manga due to work, and was only to keep up with the A-List manga, but I finally had time to search for new stuff and this one definitely deserves a read.

Of course, if this isn't you style of manga, if you don't like harem or ecchi, don't read it, or don't let that be a reason to give this manga such a poor rating, that someone who likes this genre would still turn away from because of the negative feedback from people who probably shouldn't have clicked a link, downloaded, or purchased the manga in the first place. This manga is great, definitely deserves to be rated 8.4 or higher. I give it a 9.2/10. After giving time for the story to develop, I can hardly give this manga any negative feedback. Almost even manga starts off slow paced and then once it picks up its like you don't ever want it to end, and this is one of them. I read chapters 1-156 (which are available at the time of this post) in one day, thats how hooked I was. I never wanted to leave my seat. The artwork improves later on. There are cliche ecchi scenes, but there are so many ecchi manga, it can't be helped...also, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. wink

Just don't let this manga rating fool you. There are a lot of negative, sour-puss people out there, so don't let their saltiness ruin your opportunity to read something great. Check this one out!

One more thing, Onani Master Kurosawa, had a MU rating of 8.77, any fans of this manga (which I also loved; character development was amazing), then you should also enjoy Prison School immensely. I would definitely rate this manga as high as the Onani Master Kurosawa!

Ratings are overrated... you don't have to toss it aside just because some ppl didn't like it or for whatever reason gave a poor review

Every mind is a world of its own.. right? So, some will like it and some won't.. you just have to find out in which side you are on...

Lol what do you mean don't sleep on this? You're straight up recommending one of the more popular comics. Hell, it's even getting an anime.

If anything it's Me and the Devil Blues that people are ignoring. By the same author and it's the series that actually won awards.
