This should be the finalized version.

Arslan Senki (ARAKAWA Hiromu) / Baby Steps:
Are direct adaptations so i will stick to the manga but they should be good.

Ghost in the Shell: Arise - Alternative Architecture:
I will watched the new content and skip through the old. So the OVA´s are useless now?
Don´t sleep on the hard-canon Ghost in the Shell ARISE (9,5/10).

Lupin III / Ninja Slayer From Animation:
Are wild cards and could go in any direction but will give both a chance.

Ore Monogatari!!:
The comedic timing should work great in motion so this direct adaptation i will watch.

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo:
Had a fine first arc about the said witches and reached a clear ending point. Then it went on cuZ of money and killed itself to become a ecchi harem shell. The anime should go for that ending point and i could thus recommend one season only but i won´t watch it.

Yu-Gi-Oh:
Is getting a remake but only of a later in the continuity arc? Well this part is easier to commercialize and i will stick to YuGiOh Abridged! Let´s see about the related nostaligia trip Digimon as the 3rd series wasn´t bad. Eh to both.

I will watch the Geass and Persona 3 movies as i am an idiot none . The ones for Durarara!! (only a short special) and Sarusuberi should be genuinely good though.

Ongoing for me are only: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders Egypt Arc and Gravity Falls + Teen Titans Go! as everything is ending now.

I´ll come back after all aired to evaluate if any dark house candidates show up but this is a fine selection. The anime industry realy turned things around in the last 2 years and thank god but more original content is needed.

Woot, Nagato Yuki-chan anime? I was just thinking how awesome it would be if that manga got an anime, sweet.
And a new Kin-iro Mosaic too, nice.

Hopefully my friends will tell me that they do a lot better than the manga adaptions...
Lately, I've been getting pretty sick of all these LN to manga adaptions. The various LNs, from what I hear, have deeper stories and developments amongst characters, yet the manga versions are so damn slow when it comes to pacing, plus the quality aint so great. That's not to say that it's garbage, but I feel like they could do such a better job with it, especially during some of the fighting/action scenes. It's another I should be watching anime, but for whatever reason, haven't touched it in years... :/

Overlord!! Can't wait for it! GATE is anticipated if it's seinen. Not to mention that Shokugeki no Soma, Plastic Memories, Kekkai Sensen, Owari no Seraph and Vampire Holmes are airing now! so freaking happy! biggrin

This year seems pretty good to me so far, especially with Gate and Overlord being in the works. Just pray the adaptions won’t be too disappointing biggrin

So incredibly tired of the stereotypical shounen/shoujo/ecchi/girls that look 3-years old in every Anime (Etotama? Really now?) that they produce every-single-year. What bothers me most is that's the only thing they produce these days *sigh*

I'm still waiting for something good, maybe along the lines of Shingeki no Kyojin or Kiseiju.

Kekkai Sensen looks pretty Ok though, will probably give that a shot.

Here are the shows that survived my selection based on trying out the source material or the first episode if the show is original:

Arslan Senki (ARAKAWA Hiromu) (the 90´s OVA as barely watchable btw.) and
Baby Steps are a 8/10 as expected but i will continue stick to the manga to save time here.

Digimon Adventure tri.: The director did School Days and the writer is uneven too so i would be surprised if i survive the pilot (unless it´s good).
My opinion on nostalgia: Mad Men: The Carousel and they never topped this scene.

Ghost in the Shell: Arise - Alternative Architecture: The new material starts with episode 9 and will lead into the highly anticipated movie. That will be my jumping on point. 9/10

Lupin III: The setting sound very intriguing, blue suits him but who know when this one will start (so please inform me if you do). A slight seinen edge would be nice and the italian producers promised some "hard boiled" elements.

Ore Monogatari!!: The most notable shoujo anime is quite some time and a rare adaptation i will watch even if i am caught up with the manga. Madhouse once again delivered big time but i hope that they won´t throw in a gecko ending and close at a logical point like their HxH. 9/10

Plastic Memories: This stars a young man (only 18 but least out of school for once) who wants to bang a clumsy robot girl. So far so japanese and already vaguely interesting but here is the hook. It´s actually Blade Runner (my favorite movie) X Logan´s Run so i wonder if poor Android-chan will get a “i want more life father” speech too as she is about to be "retired" herself. 8,5/10 but there better be no deus ex machina bullshit at the end!

Ninja Slayer From Animation: I am not sure where the animation part is coming from and they should have used cardboard cutouts glued to a stick for a better effect. 26 episodes sound preposterous and it´s basically Shinobi without gameplay + Ninja Gaiden (Nes) "quality" animation. The Naruto-esque soundtrack is nice but i don´t know how long the joke will last. 6/10

Thus my final viewing pleasure will consist of 1/3 of an OVA re-release, as much of Trigger´s latest acid trip as i can stomach, a crime caper that will have a hard time to match the Takeshi Koike reboot, a dramedy that stars a young Duke Togo and a moe Blade Runner remake that is already better than the in development sequel mad .
Ongoing are JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders Egypt Arc (We need to reach Steel Ball Run!) + Gravity Falls + Teen Titans Go!.

Spring seasons usually don´t offer so many diverse gems even if only one original anime is worth. What happened and the lack of utter abortions is welcomed too.
Aki no Kanade (7/10) is lastly this year’s Anime Mirai standout and Batman vs. Robin (8/10) was probably animated in japan so it counts. See you next season cowboy.
