My dad called and I started talking about my new word (which was chirpy) and long story short the conversation degenerated into just me saying "chirpy" over and over and over again.
Finally my dad said "Alright Chirpy, I need to go back to work now." And it stuck~

Well, a few years back, when I had just begun to play World of Warcraft, I was making a character, a Blood Elf, and I needed a name. So, I had recently researched my family's heritage for a project for school, and I remembered that our family has some origins in Wales. I went to an online translator and translated the words "blood" and "elf" to Welsh and came up with the name Crauhellyll.

I stuck with the character for the next few years that I played the game, and "Crau" was the name that everyone knew me by. Nowadays I don't play the game anymore, but I still stick with the name.

My username comes from when I was little and my family called me CJ which got shortened to just ceej (seige), but then they lengthened it to the Seige of Ennis which is a kind of dance, a reel.

I did not know which one to pick, so I just went with xyz. Nowadays I just close my eyes and randomly type some letters without meaning if I need a username. They are sometimes hard to remember though...

My username is Winter kaze (in leet)...or winter wind. I was born in winter and I was one of those elemental crazies who grew really attached to the wind element so...with a little alliteration and a switch in language it worked out somehow. biggrin

my username came from my first ever created yahoo account. of course, i was around 7 and too young to even remember why i needed an email account. a few years back when i joined this site, i seriously had no idea about the difference of an email address or username. i'm 17. my username is pretty childish and i've wanted to change it so many times cry

An absurdly overinflated sense of self-importance.

Or maybe I'm just not that creative.

Probably both.

My first username was the name of an Australian toilet paper company. When I got tired of it I decided for a change of pace and referenced my Chinese roots. "Caozhi" can be translated as "toilet paper" biggrin

woot I was sure it was the name of some general during sanguo period.

thread: my username is a leftover from anything, one that none can describe. Many people say my name when they are out of ideas though.
