I have been reading Crimson Hero and I really like the relationship between the female main character and her love interest. To be specific, I like that he (the love interest):

IS:
--is a good guy, but isn't a wuss and isn't annoying about it (i.e. 'holier than thou')
--has legitimate goals of his own that are represented in the manga (not just a "dream" that is mentioned a few times in an attempt to give him a character)
--legitimately admires the heroine for reasons other than her appearance (though it is fine if he likes her for that reason too)
--can be both serious and funny, etc. (has more than one side to his personality)

IS NOT:
--isn't a player and actually cares about loyalty
--isn't pervy and doesn't say pervy things, even as a joke
--isn't super clingy, possessive or strangely obsessed with the main female lead.


Can anyone suggest a manga with a main male love interest like this? Thanks in advance!

Hibi Chou Chou maybe? (I'm pretty sure I spelled that right but the u's might be wrong). Though both characters are really shy and it's not too far so I can't tell how good of a guy the love interest is, but he definitely isn't pervy, or a player, and isn't clingy. Also he has his own dream that they definitely talk about. It's pretty cute so far~
