What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?

im looking for a certain yaoi.. i forgot the title but i remembered that they're hs sweethearts its older seme younger feminine uke. then they separated when the seme went abroad to study but they promise not to break up. then when he went back the uke change he became a lil manly at first the seme didnt recognize him but in the end they got back together..
