Basara obviously, easy choice. Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, Akatsuki no Yona, Skip Beat! and Glass Mask are all good too though, check them out if you haven't already.

Well to be fair, while I was into watching shoujo anime, I've read very few shoujo manga.

I remember watching the Skip Beat anime a few years ago, and I got really into it. I thought about reading the manga, but when I saw that it had 150+ chapters I gave up that idea.

This was difficult because I love all of these series so much. I couldn't decide between Natsume Yuujinchou, Oresama Teacher, Basara or Chang Ge Xing. But In the end I went for Natsume.

I've loved Midorikawa Yuki since the first time I read Akaku Saku Koe (recommends) and I just loved her even more after the time she made me cry for over an hour over Atsui Hibi (that scene with the stars). Natsume Yuujinchou is her latest work and maybe her best one yet. I always find it difficult to put into words how beautiful it is. The story is told with great care and there is such kindness at the heart of it that somehow you find yourself becoming kinder too. It's so awfully heart warming and bitter sweet that whenever I read it I start crying. It brings about that sharp pain and nostalgia you get when you think back to a precious memory that you keep close to your heart. The series is just so gentle and beautiful and I cry over it so much.

Chang Ge Xing is a shoujo. I remember reading the debate about its demography (seinen/shoujo) before, and pretty sure it is classified as both.

Personally I vote for Chang Ge Xing and is supporting Basara and Natsume. I'm surprised by the high popularity of Skip Beat! as I though its popularity already drop a long time ago. And who choose Love so Life?

I feel a little bit reluctant to vote, as I'm not an avid reader of Shoujo manga, but Chang Ge Xing is one of my favorite works.
I'm excited for the Seinen and especially Josei poll, I wonder which series will come out on top.

Difficult to choose but I'll choose the one I'm most into right now even though the demographic tag is questionable ~ Chang Ge Xing

umm choosed Akatsuki no Yona, but had a hard time choosing it and not choosing Natsume Yuujinchou or Skip Beat! ...
But anyway I would have prefered Angel Sanctuary or Tokyo Crazy Paradise.

It's hard to decide if Chang Ge Xing does or does not belong here since the Japanese magazine it's in is Seinen whereas it's published online in China and I can't read Mandarin so I wouldn't be able to tell you if it's actually in the shoujo demographic there.

It's written and published in Chinese, for Chinese readers.

Any publication of it, in Japanese, is a translated publication, and doesn't count any more than the American publications of, for example, Skip Beat.
If you make a list of comics, that are made in America, you don't include Skip Beat, just because translations of it, are published in America.

A shoujo manga is defined as a manga (which is to say, a Japanese comic), with a target demographic of female children and/or adolescents/teenagers.

Chang Ge Xing is thus obviously not shoujo.
Shàonǚ, perhaps, but not clearly not shoujo.

It is made in China, in Chinese and for a Chinese target audience.
Thus it cannot possibly be called a Japanese comic, nor any subcategory thereof (such as shoujo)

I guess the question is whether the mods were looking specifically at shoujo as Japanese demographic audience or just using it to generally refer to the Asian comics published for the female demographic. On MU, it seems to be the latter since there is obviously no Shaonu demographic. I mean, I get what you're saying but MU just does not have those tags.

Also, you should delete the "https://" from your link since it's not working.
