The schedule and i recently found out that DBS is currently pulling a Gus Van Sant by adapting the 2015 film Resurrection 'F'. Will they readapt GT next by that logic?

Active Raid: Kidō Kyōshūshitsu Dai-Hakkei Mr. Geass is at it again but the only show from him i like from start to finish is Infinite Ryvius and even that one was uneven. The show look generic and the writer is a no-name so let´s see if i last past the pilot.

Ajin The manga got 2 tries form me due to the similarities to Parasyte but it ain´t happening. It will look great though and the upcoming Blame! film will serve me just fine but you can do better Polygon/Netflix.

Boku Dake ga Inai Machi Noitamina will deliver on it´s lofty and rarely achieved goals here due to the quality of the manga and i even wrote a review for it as i couldn´t beleave that the hentai hack of a creator was capable of putting out a good mystery comic. The only problem is the lack of a resolution and there is a certain point where one could pull an original ending but the anime needs a 2nd season.

Durarara!!×2 Ketsu Is the last hurrah for DRR unless they decide to adapt Etsusa Oohashi/Orihara Izaya to, Yuuyake wo/SH later. Baccano just got a new manga adaptation so Vamp! is the only untouched original work of Ryohgo "King of Light Novels" Narita.
I could used a good vampire anime.

Phantasy Star Online 2 The Animation Remember when the franchise used to drive the evolution of console RPGs? Universe killed it a decade ago and this is another nail in the coffin! Bonus points for adding a 2 on this infomercial, even if no 1st series exist, to not confuse potential customers. Save me Rage of Bahamut 2!

Koukaku no Pandora is more proof that Mr.GitS abandoned his talent when he left Appleseed unfinished 3 decades ago to move on to a growing mountain of lesbian hentai. The original artist is a comparable hack too and i reviewed this fetish nonsense. Watch the overlooked Real Drive instead and isn´t it funny that his usual enablers IG stayed away?

Koyomimonogatari I assumed that the anime adaptations were supposed to end but there is even a movie coming. The show is SHAFT in a nutshell so i guess not but i can recommend the 1st season. It even had a decent ending point so i fell off after a few episodes of S2. A wise choice in retrospect!

Luck and Logic looks like nothing @ first due to the trading card game roots but they got a technically apt director and a new writer who did good on both Lupin revivals so we may be faced with a certain "Bahamut Factor" (trademark pending).

Nurse Witch Komugi-chan R is still squeezing blood out of the stone called The SoulTaker but the "nurse" i now an idols to go with the times. Did the franchise turn into a commentary on the anime industry by accident over the years?

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu is the author´s one non-Yaoi work and it got some critical clout behind it. I haven´t tried the manga/OVA but the promise of success is there due to the art style and subject matter despite the no-name team and Studio DEEN.

I´ll watch the Tokyo Ghoul: Pinto OVA as i never touched the LNs but i expect nothing. DDR is also getting the usual OVA and Persona 3 the Movie #3 is dead to me as the 2nd one managed to butcher the story without bothering to have a budget. Stick to the PSP remaster and the recent Attack on Titan Part 2: Wings of Freedom was another decent recap movie. Nothing interesting in this sector and i am dreading the special broadcast of Macross Delta´s pilot for the obvious reasons but the ongoing Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt ONA turned out to be a winner as expected.

We got 2 locks and 3 shows with potential. I frankly expected less and i only spot the one mentioned fetish porno on TV but the really good stuff is still coming later.
See you when all had a chance to air.

I'm excited about a few, specially Inai machi and Dagashi Kashi, and I'm kinda interested in watching the first episode of Prince of Stride(a.k.a "Totally not Free 2.0") to see how it'll roll. There doesn't seem to be many interesting originals which is a shame.
And I'll probably watch most of the second seasons, Ass class and Gate got second seasons so fast... I wish they'd do this with more titles, I'm still waiting for Hataraku maou-sama season 2.

These are my survivors of the Thunderdome and the main theme of the season are shows that try to be bland JRPGs if we overlook the usual high-school is everything nonsense:

Boku Dake ga Inai Machi I´ll stick to the manga as the anime adapts it 1 to 1. The story will further grow in quality over time and will play with reader expectations if they get far enough into the source materiel. This is a good show to introduce an uninitiated to current anime due to the universal suspense themes so let´s hope that it won´t have a gecko ending. 8,5/10

Durarara!!×2 Ketsu is what it is and i wonder if a new viewer would even get a word at this point as even the OP starts in media res. My only problem is that the producers probably stretched the budget of a 2 season show over 3 but i don´t mind as i rarely get complete adaptations of long form source material that i care about. 8,5/10

Luck & Logic I am a gamer and have read Ready Player One or Snow Crash so i can´t stand Garry Stu McVideogame nonsense as Druaga, Sword Arts and the stream of LNs that currently flood the market. Luck and Logic was thus equally destined to put me to sleep on paper. It is an infomercial for a still to be released (!) card game, it is covered in harem tropes or bad Shounen action tropes in general but it still works. The production value are good, most characters already have a personally, the protagonist isn´t a weak willed avatar and the expected Ecchi elements stayed home. The 2nd episode also subverted a few expectations so the capable director/writer combo either polished a turd or made the unworkable work. 7,5?/10

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu The producers aired last year´s OVA as the pilot and we got ourselves another show for seasons viewers. Not only due to the period setting or the adult protagonists alone, as i was bored but Shōwa Monogatari, but due to the immediately palpable characterization and the less than usual themes. The actual first episode frames the anime as an extended flashback and the previously too long stage performances were better implemented. Studio Deen even gave a damn so the anime has a sense of identity for once. The studio used to be pretty respectable in the 80s before they turned into low budget journeymen. 8,5/10

Ongoing are: Lupin The Third 2015 and Osomatsu-san.
Also: The Gravity Falls finale, Star Wars Rebels, Steven Universe, The Simpsons (the Boyhood rip-off was actually good) and Teen Titans Go!
I am also worried for Batman: Bad Blood as it mixes arcs that don´t match but the 2nd film was good unlike the 1st. See you next season cowboy and don´t forget to bring a shovel. We will have to dig another grave for Macross thanks to Delta. I´ll even write a eulogy.

I'm following Boku Dake ga Inai Machi since I used to enjoy the manga (I've fallen behind with the newest releases though...). I think they're doing quite a good job!

I also watch Dimension W as it comes out, for the same reason as Boku Dake ga Inai Machi... I'm not sure it convinces me to keep on watching it, but at least it hasn't convinced me otherwise.

But my favorite this season is Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. I love animes and mangas with unusual japanese themes, and learning about traditional rakugo is amazing. The voice acting is done very well, at least in my amateurish opinion. The story is also compelling and interesting, and so are the characters. I suppose I also like it because it sorta reminds me of Sakamichi no Apollon.
