don't get me wrong i'm a big fan and maybe it is just me, but i definitely feel like the manga is starting to drag its feet. i wouldn't mind many more chapters to come but do any of you think the end is in sight anytime soon? has the author talked about it ending some time soon? are things soon coming to an end? or is the author still going full speed with many more volumes to come?

I used to love this series, one of the first manga I ever got into, I mean it's still not too bad but I find myself just skimming the pages now for something interesting to happen in the newer chapters. I feel as if the manga itself is beginning to flatline since the main characters wont even tell each other they love one another still after 231 chapters. I like slow romances but my god, this is like putting a turtle in a desert.

Sadly I cannot answer your question I just agree that (without trying to be more offensive then I already was) this manga should end soon just so fans can be satisfied when the two main characters decide to grow some balls and confess.

thanks, its nice to know others share my sentiment. i couldn't find anything about it when i looked but i was hoping that maybe there was someone out there who was a close follower of the author and would know. or maybe the author has talked about it in their home country and the information just hasn't been made available to English speakers yet?

o hope this never ends i have loved reading and i cant seem to get tired of reading
but yes i do agree with u guys about them not confessing
i want to see more after they confess like maybe 3-6 more volumes before it ends
i just hate it when the manga ends after they confess and if lucky they show the future with them having a kid or if not lucky it ends with them confessing.

Its honestly crazy how long I've been sticking to this manga! With every other one I've read, if they take THIS long to update, then I would've dropped it already - but the story of Skip Beat is just too good to let be.

I don't think the end is too near, since right now Kyoko is about to get that ninja role and I get the feeling that her jealous streak might be able to be embraced soon too, but since she just misunderstood that Tsuruga is into that other girl (who isn't interested in him because she's apparently set her goals on a new guy? I think it might be Cain Heel.... wouldn't that be funny? Maybe Setsu could be more assertive in claiming him as her own that way!) this is gonna take a while. I just hope that misunderstanding doesn't last too long or else there really isn't much hope of a fast progress even though she FINALLY acknowledged her feelings for him.

I also agree on that point about the potential ending. I hope it doesn't get "axed" despite the fact that its slightly starting to drag its feet, and that the confessions and reactions aren't rushed. Here's what I'm hoping for:

- Kyoko gathers the guts to confess and learns the truth about Tsuruga, and reveals maybe after the fact that the was Bo too
- Sho and Kyoko end up agreeing that rather than being complete enemies, they just remain rivals and Sho gives up on Kyoko. (that second bit might be difficult though - so maybe some kind of realization that he actually had a crush on her (?) would need to go first)
- There could be a flash forward to Kyoko as a successful actress at the pinnacle, and sharing her happiness with everyone (past enemies as well as friends)

Anyways - I hope this all works out in the end :/
