Another poll from myrt. Have you ever thought a series was so good that you reread it? What's the most times you've reread a single series? For me, I don't think I've reread anything actually...

You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related)
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Have you ever tried writing or drawing (doodling?) your own manga (or shorter, like a 4-koma)?
Choices:
Yes, and it's available for people to read! - votes: 185 (2.7%)
Yes, it's a work in progress - votes: 291 (4.2%)
Yes, but too embarrassed to share with others - votes: 689 (10%)
I tried... and gave up - votes: 1464 (21.3%)
No, but may try in the future - votes: 1208 (17.6%)
Haven't and never will try - votes: 3038 (44.2%)
There were 6875 total votes.
The poll ended: March 26th 2016

And no one was brave enough to share their works of art...

I have reread Noblesse 4-5 times. I did skipped few arcs which were poor in quality.

How many times have I reread my most reread series?
I haven't the faintest idea. I've got a couple of series (one in particular) that I continually re-read, before going to bed, so...
If you ignore those...
I dunno. About 3-5 times, maybe?

I reread series from time to time, especially if they are on a short side (1-5 volumes), but I think it is still below 10 times for any particular one, so voted 4-10.

4-10 should be my upper limit for any manga or comic. My most reread comics are probably Berserk and Grant Morrison´s Batman (note my avatar/signature) due to their complex structure and foreshadowing. I will reread The Dark Knight Returns this weekend due to BvS and the next manga on my reread pile is the also long and complex Hi no Tori.

I reread some of the manga 4-10 times, mostly completed ones. I reread series of manga when I get bored or when I feel like it.

This is hard, because when I re-visit manga series it's usually only chunks that I really liked, or sections that I forgot if I quit reading a series for a while and come back to it later. I rarely re-read a whole series from beginning to end... I think I've only done it once, for Uzumaki.

I re-read some If they are really good, specially If several years have pass since I first read them.
Its weird because I know its not gonna be the same.
I have re-read one webtoon in particular like three times in less than half a year and I know i'll do it more. But is a special case.

11-20 I think over the course of my manga exp but it doesn't mean I sit and reread every word every single time. If it's every single word 4-10 is more accurate

Wow. So, the overwhelming majority say they've not only never reread even a single title, but also go on to insist that they never will. Uuummmmm.........I'm not exactly sure what that says about all those people, but I personally find that to be kind of a sad commentary.

Never found even one thing that was good enough to go back for a second helping on? You've never watched a movie a second time because it was so good? You don't have a favorite food that you enjoy eating over and over or in great amounts because, well, it's your favorite? You don't buy the same brand/flavor of soda/beer time after time after time? Rereading a favorite title really isn't the slightest bit different than these things.

You know, I might find rereading something ten times to be a tad over the top, but saying you've never found even one thing that was good enough to reread and are positive you never will........yeah, more than anything, that makes me think that either quite a few people aren't being realistic/honest, or that they've got the attention span of a bumble bee and are so busy flitting from title to title that they're not taking the time to evaluate, comprehend, and really appreciate what they're reading.

Well, whatever, different strokes for different folks and all........but yeah, that's how I view the current standings, it's just kind of sad to think it's actually the case smile

Once and I don't have that many favorites. Those few are also relatively short (less than 7 volumes) so...

Nah, it ain't sad at all. No need to pity others for enjoying things in a different manner.

There are more and, in my opinion, far more interesting ways to appreciate a series than going, "Again, again!" and re-launching yourself into the story from beginning to end. I'd have that kind of reaction as a kid to stuff like Totoro and Pokémon, but I've changed since. For one thing, my memory (or at least my attention span) has improved, so I catch on to more things on my first run.

Now, when I start a manga series I really like, my first reaction is to recommend it to people I know who are also into manga. That way, I can enjoy their feedback and re-live the primary experience of certain parts through their perspective. Then I'll explore other aspects of the fandom, such as fanart, fanfiction, and theories/ analyses on forums. You can only draw so much from a series from your own perspective; for me, it's the fandom, and the experience of sharing something you like with your friends and family, that makes a good series even that more special.
