The "Chat" function not only links you to the baka-updates irc channel (where you can talk in real time with your favourite admins) but also allows you to download! *gasps*
So all you people who want to download off irc but can't quite figure out how to configure it click "Chat" and *~*~* voila you can dl manga yay!!
(*~*~*) Okay fine its not exactly that easy
-so you click the button
-then choose a nickname
-and say hi to everyone in #baka-updates channel
-to join whatever channel you want: eg. lurk (!!!)
-----> how do you join a channel?
----------> click on "Status"
----------> type "/join #lurk"
(after that further instructions are given if your nickname is not registered)
basically---------> type "/nickserv register PASSWORD EMAIL"
(of course you just make up your own password and email---then you get an email a confirmation message in which they tell you to type something like...
---------------------->"/msg nickserv confirm 12sd9f8jdl"
(of course this is just an example, do not copy ;))
and now that you're registered you can
-------> "/join #lurk"
