the dentist

Poll
How do you feel about the dentist?
I hate it, with a fiery burning passion, and firmly belive that its one of the many roots in the tree of evil
Meh, its ok, i dont really care
I love it, they give me candy ^-^
Why does it even matter?

Eh I dont really care :/ I was at the dentist for 5 hours last week to get rid of some cavities and I was fine with it ^^ if it hurt when he was drilling then he'd just give me another shot, wait a few minutes, and start again eyes The shots did hurt and my mouth was quite sore after all the numbness wore off but not bad enough to hate them dead I would rather go through the pain instead of losing all my teeth by the time I'm 30

It's necessary to go and I don't mind going. I don't care about the injecting needles or anything they do with my mouth as long it's good for me and my dentist is doing his job. The only part I don't like is after when my mouth is numbed and I can't talk properly but that's also kind of funny.

I haven't been to the dentist in around 5-6 years (everything seems to be 5-6 years for me confused ). I hate the dentist. I had an abscess under one tooth, so he pulled out four for symmetry mad.

Last year I drank so much pop and ate so much sugar one of my teeth practically dissolved. This year another one had the corner snap off when I bit a Minstrel (sugar coated chocolate disc thing).

Decided to cut down on my sugar intake before I NEED to see the dentist. ...Can polycell (wall crack filler) be used as a filling substitute? laugh
All those sweets yet I still only weigh around 50kg laugh

You, clean your teeth, every night and morning! ಠ_ಠ
I consume sugar pretty lot, but I brush my mouth.

my mom works for the dentist, so i kind of enjoy him. plus his doctor friends give us discounts at all their offices, and it's free for all dental work.

also it was where i went after school for a few years so i guess ive just really gotten used to it

I do brush my teeth. I even bought a home dentist kit (mostly to laugh at), so I even have picks, mirror and a tongue brush (only cost £1).

However, it doesn't help all that much when you drink 5litres+ of Dr.Pepper in one day in addition to other sources of sugary goodness. eek

It's a hassle to go. -_- Waiting times, boo! hiss!

I know quite a few people studying dentistry, so I try to keep my teeth nice to avoid unwanted attention.

I don't mind going to the dentist since I have good teeth & even the few fillings I've had I didn't need any anesthetic, but paying for it is *painful*. cry

I haven't gone in years, but I know for sure that it's quite heavenly getting one's teeth fixed (after the surgery/operation/dental work). If I went, I would appreciate the sheer fact that I'm able to afford such a thing.
