I tried it warm in a japanese run bar in the small cups, it was nicer warm than cold I thought. Although when I say cold I mean tepid. I think anything that temperature would have been nasty.

Stomach ulcer?
If anything alcohol would help to disinfect the wound!!!
(My stupid comment of the day)

On topic:
I've never ran across any. I'd like to try it.

No taste.
It's water.
You can consume over 9000 bottles
of it, but when you stand up after that,
you don't stand up.

I've tried it. It can be served warm or cold.
I prefer it cold, but either way it's very weak and has a sort of watery taste.

I've tried it and my initial reaction was that it had a subtle taste and pretty weak. But it totally hit me after drinking so many, without even realizing it.

I prefer it cold too. I don't know why, but if it's warm, it seems to affect me faster. This might not be exclusive to my case though, since I read somewhere that the vapours of warm sake is highly alcoholic, which you would inhale when drinking.

I'll drink it but... I'm a whiskey girl! Or beer... preferrably whiskey straight though. I will drink it any way... hot, room temperature, cold, straight from the bottle, in a glass, off of someone, through a straw...

I've never had the opportunity to try it, but I'd like to.

I hope you at least drink Scottish and not those
Irish soap-waters or North American sugar soups.

Never tried it. Always imagined it would taste like water with a hint of cinnamon though.

Ho ho. (Assuming you were actually serious) you're in for wee bit of a surprise.

I have three bottle of sake at 60% of alcohol, so it's not weak and it doesn't have a watery taste, it's like beer, the taste depends on what you buy...

Then it's not what's usually known as sake in English. You simply can't brew nihonshu that strong. Of course, it's still sake in the sense that there's alcohol in it, but that's not what the thread is about.

What is it, anyway? The Japanese booze (shochu and the like) I come across is usually quite a bit weaker than that. And tastes like crappy vodka to me, mostly...
