Hello there,

I'm a Japanese to English translator working on a bunch of series and one-shots for several groups. I recently noticed that I tend to be a lot more productive when I transcribe the chapters I want to translate beforehand, but not having that much free time on my hands, I would rather focus all of the time I do have solely on actual translating. Hence, I am looking for someone who is willing to serve as a "personal" transcriber, and note down all of the Japanese text of the series I'm working on.

The format I use is pretty straightforward, nothing too fancy. For example:

- Page 1 -

Shinji: なんやねんこれ

Haru: ありゃまぁ......

Letter: ポイポイばりば
ゴミ減らそー

Shinji: ワケわからへん 手紙には興味ね ぇわ
こいつ捨てます ぅ~

SFX: クシャクシャ

(Yes, I made this nonsense up)

Some of the series I'm currently working on are:

・Blue Giant
・Space Profile
・Kekkonshite mo Koishiteru
・Konya wa Tsuki ga Kirei
・Insect Detective Yoshida Yoshimi
・Alice in Hell (in the near future)
...

So for people who feel their Japanese proficiency isn't up to snuff yet, I honestly think it can be good reading and typing practice; and as a token of my gratitude, I'd be happy to help you out with your Japanese studies and/or offer advice on translating manga.

If anyone is interested, please reply to this thread or send me a personal message.

Thank you in advance,

ckrit
