Hello everyone! My name is Jared! I am a 28 year old dude and I love me some manga! (obvious statement is obvious)

Despite my user name, anime has never really done much for me. Of course there are some classics and others that I really enjoy and have a spot in my collection. But when it comes to media from the east, manga is where my interests lie!

I cut my teeth on manga at a very young age, and started collecting it as soon as I was making my own money. During that time I amassed a collection that I was very proud of. Then disaster struck.

About a year ago, I lost 99% of my collection to a flood. This loss really turned me off from both manga and anime for quite some time. Recently though I have started picking up volumes again here and there. It didn't take very long for me to find that spark again, and start to re-build my collection!

I do have some interests other than manga of course. I enjoy throwing dice when I get the chance, be it board games or tabletop RPGs. I also enjoy video games as well as collecting some Star Wars merchandise, mainly anything to do with Boba Fett or the other Bounty Hunters!

It was hard to find a site that wasn't anime focused, but after doing a bit of Google-fu I found this one! This site will be perfect for helping me keep track as I re-build my collection, and I hope to make as many friends as I can along the way!
