Hello!
I recently join the site and am making my first forum, so forgive me if anything is out of the norm or wrong in anyway.

As the title suggests I'm looking for a manga with a relationship that develops with a childhood friend. I find that normally with manga about childhood friends that one of them already loves the other without really showing any development which is something I personal dislike so I was looking for suggests for that category.

If you have any manga with good development feel free to recommend that too! biggrin

There is a Childhood Friends tag however it seems what you want is something along with the Slow Romance tag , since i dont know if the advance search is either broken or i suck at it , i dont know how to search manga with both of those , also it could help if you put what you like or what you might dont like , like yaoi/yuri harem and such stuff none

edit:

it seems this post/answer was my 69 one , ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

These are all manga with childhood friends whose romance (on both sides) develops during the manga:
Taiyou no Ie - He is a few years older than her and she ends up living with him.
Koe no Katachi - They weren't friends when they met as children, so the relationship has a lot of developing to do.
Cat Street - Has a love triangle of sorts (one of the few well done ones in manga in my opinion). They don't really know each other as children but as teenagers.
Aoi Hana - If you are okay with GL (shoujo ai)
Ran to Haiiro no Sekai - They are children for a lot of the manga, so neither likes the other at the beginning (don't pay attention to the other (older) guy who seems like a love interest, he's not).
Skip Beat! - They weren't really close as children, but they remember each other as adults. (It's ongoing and very long).

There is the Couple Growth category that might be of interest to you.
