It seems that releases are sometimes rejected because the comment field only stores part of the input, resulting in broken URLs. To prevent this problem, I suggest adding the maxlength property to the 'COMMENT' textarea so it will not accept more characters than the database can store. (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_textarea.asp)

Are you sure they're not rejected for other reasons?

I'm not saying there aren't other reasons that releases are rejected, but you yourself said they get rejected for this reason (http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=10439), though that was some time ago. If there's a different reason my recent release submission was rejected, however, I can't imagine what that might be.

How complicated are your comments first of all and i am about to reach 1000 submitted releases, yet that never happened to me. I submitted some really complex stuff though. Basically everything with an MU listed group gets accepted, it´s not rocket science.
What sort of mummies are you submitting?

I just put the URL of the new chapter, since I noticed a previous release I submitted was rejected and guessed that maybe the person reviewing the update wasn't able to find the new chapter. I don't know what the character limit is, but I made 2 attempts to submit an update for the same chapter recently. In the first, I included the URL of the new chapter which was about 90 characters long. This was rejected. For the second, I included the URL of the chapter list which was about 54 characters long. This was accepted.

Releases by LINE Webtoon are a special case. Release listings on MU will be in line with PST timezone. If the release comes out early on their site but it isn't past midnight PST on the correct day, the I'll reject your release entry.

In my experience, LINE Webtoon is extremely punctual, consistently releasing at exactly midnight Eastern time (9pm Pacific time). Would manually entering the release date when submitting a release from them solve the problem?

Look into your User CP. It has the official MU time listed. Use that when picking the release date.

Isn't that the default behavior when leaving the date blank? I think the problem here is that LINE Webtoon organizes its series by release date, and Pacific time lags behind, so the date according to the official MU time when the new chapters are released does not match the date where the release is categorized by LINE. If so, then I don't see how using the official MU time would solve the problem or would be different from leaving the date blank as I have been, but manually entering the date to match LINE's categorization would seem to.

Manually entering a future date does not work for non-admins. This is on purpose.
