Seeing as I would probably seek to conquer it, I would either save it and become an autocrat/dictator or destroy it. Possibly both.

Depends... how is the world "dying"?

Big-ass asteroid or some rogue planet gonna crash into the world? Planet is about to explode? Probably gather people and do science stuff to reach and colonize outer space Macross style.

Sudden ice age envelope the whole world? World dries up turning everything into desert? Ice caps melt and the world turns into an endless ocean? Most likely just gonna try to survive.

Nuclear holocaust? Incurable disease carried by an airborne virus that kills every living thing? Have as much fun as possible because I'm most likely already contaminated of radiation/affected by the disease while asleep.

Try your best to return to your own world as i don´t see the value of in staying dystopic wreck. I also lack any valuable skills and this manga genre is a mess anyway.
The constant need of putting a "relatable" avatar protagonist into a genre setting is about as lazy as you can get.

There should be an option, "I don't give a f*ck, I'll just do whatever I want." Most of the time there is a demon lord or simply just an evil being that is trying to destroy the world, aka killing all the humans, so I would either have fun seeing the chaos and doing whatever or I would destroy the world along the evil bastard or maybe both xD.

I see no reason to help them and if there is no way to return to my world then I why would I care to save that world? I would just play around. At most, if I found people I liked, friends, lover, etc, I would try to keep them alive but forsake the rest of the world.

It would be funny to go to the demon lord's side, say, "Hey, I'm the hero supposed to save the world, but I don't care about this world. Truth be told, I hate it. So, demon lord, let me help you out destroying it. I can give you tactical information only known to the savior of the world "

I'd try my best to return to my own world, since what happens to someone else's is none of my concern. However, if I find that it's impossible or that I can only return after this current world has been saved, I'd just go and do it on my own cos I don't like working in groups -- especially not the generic fantasy-adventure type band of idiots, jerks and harem girls (though in my case I guess it'd have to be a reverse harem)

I "awaken in an unfamiliar dying world". Ok, I guess I roll up my sleeves and get on with the business of surviving and maybe team up with some people who know what's going on, maybe they have a plan.

Reads further on..."You discover that you were summoned to be the savior"...Whaat?!! Is this world populated by a bunch of monkeys? I'm out of here, man. I'm going to try my best to return to my own world...wait you say the plague wiped out one of the genders in this world and the only people left are hot super models? Ah...ahem, I guess I could stick around a little bit. Oh, and seek out some love...after all love will save the world. Am I right? Plus, everyone loves a savior.

If I can save that world through football knowledge, sure. Otherwise they might have screwed up.

Like did they randomly summon a person or was there actually some sort of sense that went into summoning me because we know it isn't going to happen like manga. One can only hope it would be beause in that case, gather a party to overcome the crisis seems like it'd be possible?

I honestly don't see how I'd survive with some of the other options. Try my best to return to my world just seems like saying I'm giving up and basically telling the people who summoned me they can kill me for being useless.

Knowing myself, there's no way I could save the world with my abilities... so I'd simply just try to have as much fun as possible.
I'd guess that I was summoned because I hold the key to something mysterious and not due to my innate talents... so I'll just have fun and perhaps stumble into whatever it was I was summoned for.

I would probably just do the boring thing and look for a party to help me. And then after the world is saved, I'd probably just want to go home.

I would feel bad if I left the world to ruin (even if I'd make a super incompetent hero), but I hate unfamiliar places, so I wouldn't be interested in staying there for much longer than I had to. So, uh, if there's the option of "finding someone else to take my place," I would probably pick that one.

Not enough information to make a logical decision.

Therefore, the priority will be: gather enough info to figure out wtf is going on.
