This has never happened before. Suddenly, whenever I click on the chapter number in order to add one or ten to the number I'm on it errors out. It has some type of broken address at the top and then loads an error page inside of the manga page's content

I have turned off all my ad and script blockers, but it still is doing it.

Delete cache and cookies on your web browser. It's definitely something on your end

Yea, i'm recently getting the same bug too. No idea why, it functioned perfectly fine the last couple of years.

I've deleted cache and cookies on my browser but it still does not work. Any other suggestions?

Happens to me too, deleting cache and cookies doesn't work

Been using mangaupdates for years, this problem only come about 2-3 days ago, I don't really know what triggers it, is it possible that it has something to do with Windows 10 update or Nvidia driver update?

Since that seems to be the only change in my computer the past few days

This is happening to me too, but I'm still on Windows 7, so definitely not a Windows 10 update. (I'm using Chrome.)

It started happening for me... yesterday? I couldn't access MU for a few hours, and immediately after it finally started working for me, I started getting this error.

To clarify: the chapter number still updates. It just brings me to the error page right after it does.

This started happening to me today as well. The glitch extends to lists as well, but it's less annoying. Instead of an error being spit, nothing appears to happen but the server does update. Refreshing shows that.

I don't think it's a user problem, going by what's been said. GPU isn't at fault, Windows has only been pushing Defender updates the past few days, Windows/browser installs aren't uniform. Cleared cookies and cache (well I don't use the cache) on top of a cookie manager - as have others. Bonus: hasn't happened to me in nine years.

Same. The counter isn't working for me either.
I can replicate the same problem when I update my chapters via the Series' page.
When I update it via My Lists, they appear to be unchanged even after multiple clicks. I had to refresh for it to show the results.

Yeah I cleared the cookies and cache and its still happening. I'm glad to know its not just me. I tried it on my parents computer and it happened with theirs also.

The counter is actually working, if you refresh the page the number will go up, but yeah, it transfer us to error page every time we tried to click the counter mmm...

Same for me the past few days.
I tried different browser (firefox, edge, chrom), cleaned cache, cookies and some registry errors and updated all drivers that where not up to date. Didn't help getting rid of the bug.
I think it's not something on my end.

Should be fixed ... was data corruption due to the last server freeze. Still trying to solve the freezes.
