Takumi's quite possibly my favourite character - him, Shin and Nobu. Although, if I ever met a guy like him in real life I think I'd rather have him castrated...

As for the most irritating character, I'd go with the majority: Reira.

I don't really hate anyone in NANA, but Layla is pretty annoying. In the first few volumes, she was okay, but after her & shin broke up she became more and more whiny.

That pretty much exactly how i feel. I hate how she's always crying, indecisive and can't grow up...that she needs Takumi to babysit her.

Ren because . Lol.

Well. They're ALL ANNOYING :/ except Yasu. I think he's the most decent one on the Manga.
But these five really made me want to go in the manga and just beat them into a bloody pulp. :/
5. Hachiko. She's really dumb and naive. I can't stand it! It's really really annoying why she can't do anything for herself. She just pissed me off. :/
4. Shoji. Really? The moment he just go with that with Sachiko-biatch. I just want to burn him up! How could he waste a goddamn two years of long distance relationship? :/
3. Sachiko. That's just it. I hate all about her.
2. Takumi. I hate all about him. I just can't stand him. He's the reason why I started to hate Hachiko. He's ignorant, a player, he's the DEMON KING!!

and of course, the number 1 on my list. The one I hate the most. REIRA :>

I'm not going to make myself popular with what I'll say, but I'm really mad at Nana Osaki. Why can't she make a decision? Why couldn't she just go to Ren? It's her fault he's dead [spoiler]! I know she still loves him, and I understand he couldn't go to her because he was afraid she'd break up with him. But what's her excuse? Just before he died, he sees an image from her leaving him...
As for Reira, I understand everyones reactions! Too bad she turned out like this, because she was very sweet when she was little. But I don't really blame her, she has always loved Takumi and never really knew whether he loved her as well or not (it looks as though he does but he never really chose her to stay with). I can imagine that must be hard and confusing for her. Then there is Shin and that makes it more complicated for her.
I don't really know who to choose as 'most hated'. Maybe Shion. She's too cold!

I felt the same initially, but when push comes to shove, I think she's shown herself to be far more strong and resilient. More so than Nana O anyway.

The black haired guy who works for search (the one who . He's the worst. Also the Cookie exec (the one who ). Though it's not as bad with him since ?

Reira's annoying since she's so weak, but not terrible. Nana's mom is pretty shitty too. Takumi's an asswipe but has some redeeming moments.

People shouldn't hate on Hachi though! I think she's actually one of the smartest characters.

This is way after the fact but I can say that the reason I stopped reading this manga after maybe 25 chapters is because I dislike pretty much all the characters. Except maybe Yasu, Jun, and Kyousuke but that was my initial opinion and who knows how their characters may have changed?
But, ultimately, I find this manga too unrealistic (while pretending to be realistic) and the characters just seem...too much, you know? Each of the main ones to me, are like one of the seven deadly sins lol.

Hachi (sloth) is too obsessed with love and needing to be protected (which she's mentioned several times in 20 or so chapters) and just seems too lazy to actually try and succeed on her own. And you may say she tries several times throughout the manga, she continues to give up. It's like someone who complains about being fat all the time but can't maintain a diet for longer than a day. And when he/she cheats, the reason is something like: "well it was bound to happen anyway because I'm already fat. I need someone to make me lose the weight!" I disliked her weak minded personality from the first chapter.

Nana (pride) is...idk. I don't have any strong opinions about her. I think she's overly proud and vain but at least she has the drive to try and do things for herself, unlike the other Nana. So I don't dislike her as much currently.

Sachiko/Shouji (lust) are just two people who don't give a crap how their actions affect the people around them. Some might consider it romantic to throw everything away for love, but I don't. I find it selfish and unreasonable. For me, the most annoying part of their situation was the way they carried on the relationship for weeks while hiding from Hachi, even going so far as to have Sachiko hide on the balcony. And if that isn't bad enough, Shouji has the nerve to "worry" about Hachi so much he sends a friend to look after her and wants to apologize. I think Kyousuke said it best: his actions (and Sachiko crying "I feel so sorry for your girlfriend; she's so nice, etc) was completely self-serving. It had nothing to do with sparing Hachi's feelings -if they wanted to do that, they would have ended the relationship properly before starting something- but to relieve themselves of any guilt.

Um...Takumi is gluttony, plain and simple. No explanation necessary, right?

Shin would be greed to me. I haven't had much run in with him in so few chapters but his love for money seems to stem from a deeper desire for something. But that excessive desire gives rise to greed.

To me, Reira would be wrath. Not that I've seen much of her but from other people's spoilers, she seems to do a lot of things just to make others suffer/placate her own desires.

As for who's envy...probably Nobu?

I completely forgot about this story but soon as it came back to me..
