I’m sorry if I missed it but, I can't quite find a way to correct info data on a series. The author name for "Your Colour" has been misspelled. To my knowledge there correct would Meiji Kanako, not Meizi Kanako. Also I think I’ve noticed some mix ups with authors/artist in some series. How one would fix that?

Ummm, what exactly is the problem, or is there one anymore? Based on the logs, I think you already changed the info.

No, no problem anymore, didn't noticed the little edit link, >__<

.... but just so this thread won't be completely useless

Looking at the search function, maybe it would be a good idea to add “Scanlated” and “not scanlated” option in the search? (maybe just "not scanlated") There are plenty series on the site that are not scanlated and that are not licensed either. For one it would help to filter not scanlated series out, if one only looks for scanlations…. Just a thought.

Hmm, so a filter that brings up only works that are being scanslated, right? I don't know if that's totally worth looking at, personally, although I'm not site administration. The issue is, say the manga is fairly long, maybe, and it takes time for the releases because the group that is working on it isn't a big one or necessarily "fast". Also, sometimes when titles are dropped, groups don't note that somehow on the manga's project page here. It would require a person to check manually if the group is currently scanslating the work.

Well partially correct, but I meant it mostly for project that had never been scanlated. ie those that never had a single chapter released . There are several manga listed on the site that are like that, some are in future lists of some groups and some are not. (Just to clarify.)

Uh, so you're saying that projects where it says "future project of [group]" should be filtered somehow? You're not saying that because another group has it on their future projects list and has it said on that page that it should be considered "theirs", right? No Thanks! was picked up by Ochibichan and it was on Shoujomagic's future project list for sometime. The Flower of Evil is being done by Lovely Scans and that was in Shoujomagic's future project list too (okay, not the same as putting that info on b-u but I'm guessing that's sort of what you meant).

But isn't the list for this really, really small number unless somebody decides to put in a bunch of raw/unlicensed manga titles? The licensed ones aren't really suppose to be scanslated according to the old way of thinking, which was that scanslation were to generate interest in an overlooked title to licensing companies and also pick works that wouldn't probably be picked up (well, self-indulgence). Although the Ranma 1/2 project may have been because the person did not agree with how Viz was translating and releasing the manga ($30 a book, a translation that was lacking). I don't know this for certain as my memory about that is fuzzy.

Okay, then again, I may have strayed from what you said. dead And maybe all you were recommending was a filter that showed manga that had not be scanslated and not licensed. I guess I'll know by your response. ^^;
