Any where the female lead is either a mother and/or was married before she ends up with the male lead? (2nd guy, not the father or ex-husband)

If she has a child, she can either just be a single mother who never got married or should could have been married.

She can either be divorced or has lost her husband. (like Kyoko in Maison Ikkoku)

If she's divorced, it would be ideal for the ex-husband to cause problems for the main couple, but it's not a requirement.

I'd like it the male and female leads end up together.

I'd also take her still being married, but is basically in a shitty marriage so she falls for the male lead.

The male lead meets her after the fact.

I know what I'm asking is probably really specific, but help a fellow user out. XD

You can try Natsuyuki Rendezvous; it's a josei manga where the female lead used to be married (i'm not specifying her current status because that would be a spoiler), and attracts the attention of the male lead, who is younger than her. Let's say the ex-husband "interferes" in their relationship in some original ways.

It also has an anime adaptation. Both the manga and the anime are great, but the manga deepens into their relationship a bit more (as you can imagine).
I could say it's one of my favourites, and the art is beautiful! smile

Seen it. Yeah, I wanted to like it, but....

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I felt that the focus on the dead husband was a little too much. I didn't like that once he possessed the main guy, he possessed him for most of the story. I wish they switched back and forth. The main guy never got to experience his first kiss or sex with her. Also, it kinda pissed me off that she supposedly was in love with the main guy at the end, but didn't hesitate at the thought of killing herself to be with the dead husband. I didn't like the husband. He was supposed to be such a good guy, but he wasn't really.

I mean I'm glad the main guy and the wife got together and lived a long happy life, but it would have been nice to see some more development from them.

Read it and loved it. I wish it was longer. That fits what I want perfectly. I mean, there's a male and female lead.

Do you mind BL ? Because Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu totally fits the description. It's really sweet and heart-warming. Even if you're not a fujoshi/fudanshi there's no reason for you not to enjoy it. Give a go ! smile

Not into Yaoi, sorry. Though I will take Yuri. If you have any where 2 girls get together after one of them being married and/or having a kid, then I'll take it.

First one that comes to mind for me is: Orange Yane no Chiisana Ie

If you haven't already read it, it's definitely worth a look.

Oh really ? sad It's such a shame though ! If what you're afraid of is sex then don't worry because there's absolutely nothing until chapter 13 (out of 18).
The main lead is a straight single man who's just had a divorce with his ex-wife. He's living with his daughter. His gay friend makes some advances on him but it remains totally pure and innocent (just a little kiss on chapter 6).
I wasn't into yaoi either at first (it really didn't appeal to me) but this kind of BL is the reason why I enjoy them now. Fluffy, convincing, realistic and endearing. So I really think you should try it out smile

Ahem. Anyway ! Here are some more recommendations (i read them a long time ago so I don't really remember what they worth) :
- Soshite, Hare ni Naru
- Ohana Holoholo
- Gofun de Koi ni Ochite
- Sefure no Hinkaku

But you know, i think that the best way for you to find one to your liking is to use the advanced search system wink
> First you must choose the genre you want. Just check in red the ones you want to avoid (most likely yaoi and shounen ai) and check in green the ONE you're interested in (seems like shoujo, josei or shoujo ai. but beware : you musn't check all of them at the same time otherwise the system will look for a manga that is shoujo AND josei AND shoujo ai. So only check one at a time).
> Then I suggest you to add a tag (something like 'single parent', 'dead lover', 'divorced protagonist', or 'finding love again' for example. Just check the tag dictionary if you're not sure of the ones you want to use). I advise you to put only one tag at a time because something too specific won't give you a lot of results.
> Click on Search
> Finally, click on "ratings" (in the top right corner) and the mangas will be sorted by... ratings. xD
I know it's rather inconvenient to do (because you'll have to try multiple combinaisons) but I think it's the best way for you to find this one manga you will really enjoy biggrin

I hope you'll manage to find one which will meet up to your expectations !!
