Hello!

I'm looking for a shoujo manga with a female MC who isn't outdone by her soon-to-be significant other. I don't want the 'idiotic but kind' or the 'strong but brainless' personality, and I definitely don't want someone who's strongest attribute is that they're nice. I did enjoy Skip Beat and Kaichou wa Maid-sama, but they both got into a lot of arguments over misunderstandings which drive me crazy! As a reference, I'm looking for someone like Ming Lan, Haruhi, and Kujou.

I may be asking for a lot, but I've found some amazing series on this site, and I believe in the internet to provide more! Thanks!

I've already read Tonari Kaibutsu-kun and Beauty Pop, but they fit my criteria exactly! I definitely plan to check out the other two, so thank you for replying! I thought I was going to spend all night searching for some new material!

Perhaps some of these might fit? Some of these have cold female leads, others have female leads who are more assertive/independent, and others are just ones I like
