This site is great, but I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a Japanese version.

I am looking for a searchable Manga/LightNovel tagged database by Japanese for Japanese.

I know this is super late. But I still want to comment. You can search Japanese text / titles on the search bar and it'll bring up the closest or any similar titles with your searches. At most, not all are on the database because either the staff doesn't have the time to search through every single comic that comes out and posting it on the database.

Thanks for replying, but want I am hoping for is a Japanese site maintained by Japanese fans with Japanese tags. While there is some cross over, the Japanese fans have their own tags that we don't always use.

One also assumes that such a site will be more up to date.

cant you just google it or ask an japonese native otaku or the like?

I have asked here, asked a Japanese native seiyuu otaku, and googled it. He didn't know of such a thing. My ability to google in Japanese is very poor. I clearly need a wider pool of Japanese native otaku and superior Japanese skillz.
