Is anybody reading the raws of this manga?

I recently was going through the rest of Suenobu Keiko's bibliography and just fell in love with her work and have recently picked up what Tokyopop has released of Life since it isn't being scanlated.

But even though it's not being scanlated, I know raws are still be released, found some via mIRC. So I figured those who speak Japanese might be following the manga.

I don't like reading manga that's currently in production, I really hate having to wait for manga to be released, I like reading it all in one quick go. I'm making an exception in this case considering how much I loved Suenobu's other work, but still curious if it looks like it'll be anywhere close to ending.

Also I haven't started reading the manga yet, so if this turns into a discussion about the manga, please label spoilers haha.

I am not reading the raws, but am angry that the manga is stalled at volume 9. I have not seen any more volumes after that. It's times like this that I wish I was smart enough to learn Japanese!

I even stopped watching the drama because I wanted to read the manga first. It looks like I will be watching the Drama now because apparently the Japanese company that released LIFE in Japan wants to start a company in the US, and are taking LIFE with them (rumour!). But considering that the comic market is suffering due to the economic crisis, who KNOWS when that will be!?

Has anyone seen the Drama? Does it follow the manga or does it divert?
