After many topics, news, public statements, etc, etc some thought runned through my mind.
"Could this be a new Cold War?" I mean, look: NATO found new "enemy-friend": Russian Federation. Also they say that RF, North Korea's and China's(plus some minor countries like Khazakstan and others) Shanghai Trading Agreement is in fact a military pact to fight against NATO.
Well, i would not pay it much attention if it were just rumours, but what the hell! Why US trying to plant so many Anti-Missile Systems around Russia? There is so many questions... But putting that aside i have want to ask this:

Can Cold War appear again "officially"? (Many people think that New Cold War is already "ongoing in secret")

The Cold War was over 20 years ago. There is not going to be another cold war between Russia and The US because the russians can no longer keep up with the US technologically.

China is a different story.

And those who believe the cold war is still going on are irrational, wearing their tin foil hats and such.

That's an interesting way to look at it. As a new cold war that is.
I don't know how this situation will develop and what form will the confrontation will take, but it's obvious that some more aggresive actions will have to be taken, since the damn yankees think they can do all they want. Well, don't underestimate us, people bigrazz

Future wars will mostly be (are currently) fought in cyberspace. The U.S suffers several hundred/thousand cyber attacks from places like China, India, Iran, Japan, Scandinavia, Southeast Asia...etc, nearly every day... and vice-versa.

Information has always been the human race's most valuable asset, and now, with the advent of the internet and high-speed connections, the stakes have been upped massively.

IRC ain't just for downloading anime, you know.

Of course, it's sad to say, there will always be violence. That trait won't change. History has nearly always been defined by bloodshed.... it seems it's the only thing we useless humans are good at.

Cheers.

I agree.... things will get very nasty, very fast. Let's end this discussion. We could concentrate on Global Warming or the World Food Crisis instead.

Firstly, it's okay to hold a harsh opinion, but be polite when you voice it. This is an interesting discussion, so as long as no one is being too harsh and vocal, then it's all good.

As for mine, the Cold War is over. Russia is now a US Ally, and it is pretty close to the Middle East where there are US military operations. The more important thing is not really where the missiles are located, because homing missiles can be located anywhere, but where they're aimed at.

So does anyone know in which direction the missiles are pointing?
