-Like the title say, this is my unofficial simple guide to the Anime bases on Manga.
-So if you want add something to the gude, just let me know and I edit it if it’s useful.
-All information here is either Unofficially created by us or you can found it anywhere on the internet.
-----------------------------------------------
Different/Contrast:

Anime:
-Tone down the violates, bloods, ecchis, and anything that inappropriate like language and etc...
-Anime usually end somewhere on the manga before the manga actual ending
-*Filler episodes – Most but not all anime have them
-Anime episodes varies from series to series
-Anime only character
-Not all chapters from the manga is shown in the Anime

*Filler episodes is not part of the manga series, so it got no relation with the main story itself; it is there just to fill in some time so the manga can get ahead of them or they just put it there so some minor character from the manga get more screen time.
For more info on filler: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filler_%28media%29

Manga:
-the original works of art, where everything is more bloody or just ecchi depend on the genre and the artist
-Manga original usage of language
-Manga only character
-More detail information
--------------------------
Type of Anime that base on Manga:
*All Category type and its name are made up by me as well as the percentage just so people get the feel what types are there.
*If you don’t like the Category I name them, then you try naming them
*The made up percentage rate are the range in which how close the anime is to the manga
*Note that not all anime bases on manga is going follow these categories
*These categories can also imply to anime base on video games and other Medias

Straight Ball (60%~90%)
-Just like a straight ball from baseball, this type of anime follow the manga as closely as possible with a filler episodes or not in its

Example:
HunterXHunter and its OVAs
Hikaru No Go

Tree Branch or Branch off (50%~75%)
-This type of anime is like the straight ball type however at some certain point in the anime it will “branch off” in it owns alternate story line that got nothing to do with the manga story line and never go back.

Example:
Black Cat
Great Teacher Onizuka

Scramble Egg (20%~80%)
-This type of anime is just like its name imply, all the anime episodes corresponding to the chapter from the manga will be mix up except the 1st episodes which always the first chapter if not

Example:
Rosario+Vampire

Odd Ball (25%~75%)
-This type is hard to describe but to put it simple; it got all the element of all the categories listed and mix them up and make it into a “straight ball” type yet not. It got part of the manga stuff and part not.

Example:
Trigun

Alternate Story (10%~25%)
- This don’t need to be explain, it just mean that the anime story line and the manga story line is different

Example:
Dragonaut
