In my opinion the story of Abyss is > than the story of Legendia, but still doesn't beat Symphonia in terms of awesomeness.
Oh and FF-VII is cheap, I believe that I picked up a new copy of it for about $13 with tax at my local circuit city.

I totally love Tales of Symphony, right now I'm replaying it for the fourteenth time. And thanks for the price check, but I don't know if I have a Circuit City near here, I always get my games from GameStop. I'll just have to look into it though.

By the way, I don't suppose you've ever play Star Ocean: Til The End of Time? I was think about getting that (and FF X-2), but I can't find any reviews that seem like they can be taken seriously.

Yea I've played Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, but I really didn't care for it that much, actually I didn't even finish it. Oh and GameStop will probably only have used copies of the older FF games, and if they do they they will sell them for the same price as a new copy. As for FF X-2 it was intresting but if you didn't do all the missions then you wouldn't get the best ending. I only learned this when I got to almost the end and then proceeded to not finish the game since I would get a crappy ending.

I played Star Ocean also, pretty good but it lost my interest after the storyline got too "Matrix"-like. The fighting is also fun but can get repetitive and quite easy at times.

As for FF-X2, i didn't play much of it, as much as i loved Yuna, it gave off too much of a "Charlie's Angels" impression in the beginning for me to play more then about halfway through.

I mostly play FPS-games, think Quake/Doom... but RPGs are probably in second place.

That might have been different if I had a console.. dunno.

I'm mainly an rpgamer, but mostly I'm just after the story. I cheat through the game to get to the end quickly. After I played the game, it takes me a while before playing it again (but by then, I'd play it more thoroughly). Sometimes I play fight games like Soul Caliber. I could never play first-person games for more than a few minutes. The fast camera movement makes me nauseous after a few minutes. I remember this game, Summoner... I tried playing it but couldn't continue after a few minutes. I tried a few more times in the following days till I just stopped playing it. I really get nauseous in those type of games.

Yeah, I'm also mainly a RPG gamer, but i game a lot of strategy games too, like civilization, or Total war. I played a lot of FPS when I was younger, but I got bored of it.

Mainly, I prefer RPG games followed by fighting games (because of the techniques you get to master as well as the ego boost you get when you beat up your siblings virtually). Every once in a while there's that arcade games that you want to play when you're bored.

If I got the right resources, things might have turned out with me getting addicted to RPGs 'cause of their stories. MMORPGs are also fun too when you get to play, socialize, then play again. But patches are just too darn annoying when you don't have a good internet connection (though how will the game develop if there aren't?).

I used to play RPGs almost exclusively. Then I burned out on them. I blame Final Fantasy for losing my interest around FFX.

More recently I've been playing scrolling shooters (Touhou/Gradius/R-Type), fighters (Tekken 5/Melty Blood/Immaterial and Missing Power), and puzzle games (Meteos/Lumines). I've also played some old FPS games I used to love like Unreal Tournament, and have been saving up for an XBox 360 so I can get Armored Core 4, Ace Combat 6, and Gears of War.

I've also always loved music games, especially beatmania and pop'n music. I also play lots of any kind of dancing game like DDR/ITG and Pump It Up.

I consider myself a well-rounded gamer.

First off I wouldn't buy Armored Core 4 since it is not worth throwing 60 bucks at, its a good rental but definitely not a buy.

As for FF, X is one of my favorites of the series, as for XII it could have been better.

The one thing about the 360 at the moment is its sore lack of RPGs, besides Oblivion there really aren't any good ones, which means the wait for Blue Dragon is going to be a long one.

I like rpg and tactic games, i used to play at least one rpg at a time but because i don't love 3d graphics (I prefer cell shaded or 2d graphics) i play less and less rpg nowadays unless they fulfill my graphic requirement, i play more tactic games because thre are lots of tactic games that provide me with the graphic I like.
