Yes, now that you mention it, the series keeps killing off characters. I'd love to see new characters that can hold their own against the Akatsuki.

I was gonna bring this up as well. They dont know yet about his multiple bodies, but they have a body of pain, So they should figure it out soon.

And i agree with the whole "new fighters", Since all the ones they have are stale. And they are all almost godlike, and barely have any trouble.

I mean, Sauske lost the power of Orichimaru, so he should have at least SOME trouble against the 8tails, and if he doesnt, thats Bs.

Yeah I think we need some new characters for a change of pace. I think everyone is starting to get tired of the old ones. Some people are still probably angry when they remember Chouji and Neji didn't die during Sasuke retrieval arc.
While I wont complain about that new glasses girl, I wouldn't mind to see some new strong ninja. It would be great for the 8-tails host to be really strong as the tailed beasts so far were all pretty much owned even though they were supposed to be these "super weapons". I get the point that Akatsuki wanted to use them for their chakra but if Akatsuki members are strong enough to defeat/subdue the tailed beasts do they really even need them?
Well in any case I really doubt Sasuke will fail. Hes got his "nuke" sharingan now too, along with God knows how many of Itachi's powers.

Anyways, "The real one isn't with them". That'd be kinda hard to string together quickly with page numbers - he must have an insane memory. But perhaps Jiraiya and Tsunade know something that the others don't. The "real one" would be something that we kinda know about, like maybe the eight-tails. Or maybe even Pain. It's something powerful.

A change of pace isn't really needed at the moment. Maybe it'll happen when it's needed a few chapters later. What I'm hoping is that we'll see an epic Akatsuki v. Konoha with all the characters.

im glad we finally got out of the sasuke's-self-pity chapters and started moving things along ^^. looking forward to seeing the grude match of naruto vs. pain.

also, anyone else think that cryptology girl is pretty much shikamaru's ideal wife that he described waaaaaaaaaaay back? lollol

i'm hoping the 8-tailed jinchuriki becomes a new additional character for the story too right now. out of all of them the only ones who really are walking still is Naruto and Gaara. and Gaara's pretty much the only one who's had a back story to cover too. the Jinchurikis and the Bijuus right now are pretty much uncharted territory for the story i think. we've known nothing about any of them, and or seen any thing proving (like someone said earlier) their worth of capture.

Yeah, except I still think that Temari's the girl for him. She's probably just somebody who's been in the cryptology department for years and much older than him though. Or someone who's just come up as a chunnin, and a couple years younger.

But don't forget that Sasuke no longer has his cursed seal, which he has relied on in his attack on Orochimaru, his battle with Deidara, and when he went to recruit Juugo. Also, Sasuke has repeatedly shown his reliance on his Curse Seal whenever he runs low on chakra due to him using big jutsu after big jutsu, in particular his chidori related ones. It wouldn't be completely out of the question to see Sasuke actually weaker than he was before, new sharingan or not.

True he relied on that seal quite a bit. It will be interesting to see how he fights now. That being said, I think he's still going to be stronger. He might have lost the cursed seal but he gained a new sharingan as well as some of Itachi's jutsu (possibly).

I am still wondering though, if Amaterasu wasn't just a one shot thing that Itachi put in Sasukes eyes to ward off Madara. I mean if it wasn't a one shot deal why didn't Amaterasu keep on firing at Madara after it didn't work the first time? Also wtf is even up with this deal... how can Itachi just give jutsu around. I though shinobi had to learn and practice their skills... poor Lee's hard work just keeps getting more and more pointless... (he always seems to lose his fights).

Kekkai genkai may be different. And maybe Itachi used a jutsu to transfer knowledge of the sharigan jutsu? I do feel sorry for Rock Lee, though. Sasuke will have to learn to fight differently without using the cursed seal for sure. No, he no longer has it. One of Itachi's objectives was to kill the Orochimaru that was inside Sasuke.

What if "the real one" = Pain? Possibly Jiraiya was fighting a lot of copies of Pain. I think that he's realized who Pain is, and it's got something to do with the three kids that he trained long ago, otherwise, why show them? And he also realized that he didn't fight the real Pain.

i'm still pretty convinced that the galsses girl is ino. and about the 8 tail, my bet is that' it'll be a insanely powerful girl, but it'll still be owned by sasuke and will have to run to konoha. either that or another rival for naruto.
