Hm... usually "One Thing" by Finger Eleven calms my stressed out mind. Namie Amuro's songs or one of the many upbeat remixes I've got on my iPod can return my cheeriness. Oh now I've got my iPod out and I won't want to stop...

This song reminds me of happier moments in life, I always picture the most perfect and beautiful memories of mine through this song and also it makes me want to go around dancing with total strangers.

Anything from Millencolin/ Rise Against is good stuff.
When I'm in a "darker" mood, I end up listening to things like: Chimaira, Ill Niño, and so on.
Sometimes I just cant stand songs with lyrics,
thats when I end up listening to soundtracks (usually various anime OST's)

I listen to some Tupac (but not Temptations or Brenda's Got a Baby, etc etc those are depressing) like 5 Deadly Venoms or i listen to some Korn (but their later albums like See You On The Other Side or Life is Peachy, not just their self titled one, cus it's also kinda depressing), Wake Up's a good one
