Hmm... Iunno if there's a request like this before or something along this line, and I'm not too overly familiar with this site yet. So if you guys can help me out, it'll be greatly appreciated. Basically... I'm looking for something that has to be with betrayals (I guess you call it betrayals, maybe deception/lie?). (ie: The protagonist being used for someone's own personal gain(s), but he/she finally realizes it and retaliate, fight back, revenge, however you wanna put it.) If the protagonist is being used by a good/best friend, a trustworthy comrade (iunno why i just think comrades are different from friends), or possibly a lover, it'll be an added bonus. If it has violence, action, guts/gore, and w/e else one would find intense or over the edge, I'm all for it. Thus, thanks for your time and aid.

P.S.
If possible something long, maybe more than 50 chapters but not as outrageous as 150+.

I'm just wondering why you are measuring the length in chapters.
Chapters can vary greatly in length.

Why not use volumes?

Shin Angyo Onshi
Berserk
Rebirth
Gungrave (Anime)

There were other topics addressing this.. But I can't be bothered finding them.

Could you give some examples ? Betrayal, revenge...even in Naruto and Bleach this are main themes.... here some random stuff with betrayal in it:

Shin Angyo Onshi
Diabolo
Berserk
Elfen Lied
X/1999
Deadman Wonderland
Monster

Iunno... different ways of thinking, I guess. Like some manga have 3-4 chapters in a volume while others have like 8 or something in a volume. I just find it's easier for me to number things by chapters rather than volumes.

As for the suggestions. I've read Shin Angyo Onshi, Berserk, Elfen Lied, and Deadman Wonderland. I'll look into the others mentioned. Keep posting if you have more suggestions. ^_^

In my opinion, Gankutsuou is the best series in that category. Betrayals everywhere. (24 episode anime)

Ares -> fits very well (you have just to wait a little tough)
Alive -> fits very well
Vampire Juujikai
Chrno Crusade
GTO

Only in part:
Kurozuka
Kurogane

Very Possibly:
World Embryo
Superior

These are the one worthed to be mentioned imho, of course there are other stuff, many shounen have betrayal as a mayor theme.
