Is it just me or is the quality in Action Shonene just getting worse and worse...there is no big Samurai X or dragon ball z manga out there as far as i can see. Sure art is getting better and Mangas like Bleach and One Piece Are Fun to Read...But i just want good fights and powers...this story line and frendship bull is stomping way down on my attention...so are there any more Action Shonen that really stand out...or is everything becoming Nakama this and Nakama that?

The industry is in kinda a funk ... The quality of things coming out these days varies... I'm sure there are series that you haven't seen though... give some other examples of stuff you've read ... maybe someone can give some suggestions.

Interestingly enough though, your comments kinda reminded me about interesting turn in the gaming industry, where games when from doom 2 and duke nukem like (with basically no story) to the games we have today, which are looked down upon if they don't have a story...

Come to the dark (seinen) side, man!

Joke apart, sure it could be so, but it could also be that shounen are remaining the same while you're growing up. You're probably also getting a little tired of shounen cliché and stuff like that.
I also can't enjoy many shounen anymore so maybe you can try more seinen and just read some shounen you still like a lot like me. There is also the fact that some good shounen author imho switched to seinen (like Moriyama Daisuke).

If you need some suggestions, my fav running shonuen is Alive. Complete but with scan still going Ares (a manhwa). I dunno if you're familiar with them, but I suggest you to check it out (Ares is pretty amazing coming to action, and it doesn't have bullshit friendship stuff like "I wanna get Sasuke back").

Mmm... personally if I were you I keep reading only funny shounen and for action I'll switch to seinen, which are less repetitive.
And yes, you need to read Alive.
And probably you should also try both Chrno Crusade and World Embryo (it's a seinen) from Moriyama. Or stuff like Full Metal Panic.
And maybe you can give a try to stuff like Mahou Sensei Negima, the action is not great, but it's funny, especially if you don't dislike harem.
Feel free to watch my lists anyway, maybe there is something you can like.

EDIT: you don't mentioned GTO. I hope you just forget, otherwise it'd be a great miss.

Well as first I'll highly suggest you to read Shin Angyo Onshi because it has amazing art, good fights and plot.
Another good one is Kurozuka, but there's gore and stuff like that. Anyway if you're fine with Vagabond, then I think it's ok also this.
Then it depends on your tastes, if you like samurai you can try Kurogane. I love it. If you can also bear something more psychological and depressing you should try Gunslinger Girl, amazing story and art, the action is also good but it's not so frequent.
Probably someone else could give you more suggestions.

You could try the new manga like Code Breaker and Psyren. The action is decent enough. If you want something funny I would suggest History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. Don't be disheartened by the arts in v1 because it will get better. If you can handle one more action manga with 'nakama' bull I would suggest Konjiki no Gash!!. It's really funny and the action is great too.

read XBlade....it has what you want

or if you want something more realistic Hajime no Ippo has great fight scenes.....the best in my opinion

but i know what you mean i feel the same way sometimes......well atleast as far as shounen goes, cuzz i think theres alot of good-great seinen actions series

also.....FMA has the best fantasy action you can get as far as shounen goes, plus it has a deep plot, but apparently you already know this

i totally agree with this, nowadays for good shonen you must look for romance or comedy, the action is the territory of seinen, even the good action shonen (ares) look more like seinen to me.
try some seinen (like gantz) and you'll understand why.

Also i must say that all what oh! great do is quite good if you really need only shonen.
