On the last episode of School Rumble

They Mention about studing onboard in Europe or some place like that. Then I thought there might be a season three, but its been a killing be since nothings happening and I've heard nothing about it lately.

It took a long time for season 2 to come out so season 3 will probably also take a long time as well. For now all we can do is read the manga that is released every week.

According to the official website the voice of Karen Ichijou will change in the new season of School Rumble. Yuuka Nanri had to give up her role due to scheduling conflicts. She is replaced by Mako, famous for her performance as Yurie Hitotsubashi in Kamichu!

Wasn't sure where to post this and didn't really feel like starting a new one. I was just wondering, anyone else find it interesting how tenma and yakumo live by themselves with no parents? I remember an episode where Yakumo is reminded of her father when she sees harima drawing manga cause her father was an author. He had long hair kind of like Harima and was very focused on his work. Maybe this is part of why she is interested in Harima. It seems like the absence of her parents is not really an important part of the story but I was wondering how come they never explained this at least briefly.

yea they don't say much about the parents, but i think its 'suppose' to be one of those types of families where the parents work overseas and send money over to support their kids who live alone because they would rather grow up in their home country.

Maybe more on this in season 3? who knows....

Well from the way things are going a lot of the anime is based off the manga and the author doesn't create enough manga fast enough for the seasons to come out quickly ala bleach or naruto.

So you will continue to see new seasons coming out slowly unless they decide to make a lot of non-canon anime.

Yeah, but that page is no longer on the official website. It was apparently reported on February 24, 2006 but now the official website has a news blurb from Feb. 15, then March 1, 2006. And they haven't posted anything new since Feb. 2, 2007. Why they removed that news blurb, I don't know.

OK, they moved the news blurb to March 1, 2006. As I continue to look, it seems there are other cast changes too but my Japanese is not good enough to know which characters are being changed. Weirdly enough, these news blurbs are being stated for "Nigakki", which was the 2nd TV series.

Maybe someone with better Japanese than I can give it a look-over, but as I see it, the only work I see being done for School Rumble are audio dramas for Nigakki. They've been cranking those out and several CD's have been released.

Karens' VA was changed from the 1st season to the 2nd. We don't know if they'll change back to the original VA for the 3rd season.

lets hope they do change it back though, i liked Karen's old seiyuu. The new one is decent but the old one was better.

i have to admit, most of the time id rather go for this wait than fill the series up with a bunch of fillers

Well I thought the story was building up towards a conclusion soon but at the rate the story is progressing I would say this manga will be around for a while.

i thought it was:
First Term = 1st season
Second Term = 2nd Season
Nearing the end of Second term = 3rd season

Since it was said that Karasuma was going to transfer out at the end of the school year after all =o.

I think in Japan they have their Summer-Vacation during the school year itself.
