Alright, this feature might already exist but I didn't find anything so I'll write something here risking to look stupid =)

So, what I'm looking for is a way to get a notification when a series gets completely scanlated. I mean, I can add series to my wish list and then I will see them when I browse new releases. However, if I'm gone for a couple of days there's a risk that a series gets completed and I'll never really get to know that.

It would be nice if you could have a checkbox/link or whatever with "notify me when the series are completed" somewhere (perhaps in the wish list, or beside the "add to reading/wishing/..."-list at the manga info pages) and when the status changes to completed, a mail could (for instance) be sent with info about it.

Well, I'd like that smile

ANYWAY, thank you very much for a great site. I don't know what I'd do without it. I really, really appreciate it.

Ya, i would like that as well! cause sometimes for the series' that get cancelled and end abruptly i can't tell if its over, and i end up waiting for weeks for the next release when its already finished x.x

I think Manick said in the past that he's not really for the whole deal with sending mails to everyone, etc. ...

How about just putting the "Complete?" field found on the manga info page on the reading/wish list...

However it would be much better to highlight a title in the list in say...red cause spotting a title colored in red is much faster than spotting a "yes" when scrolling really fast on a list that holds more than 500+ titles...

Yes, I'm also not so much in favor of a mail notification but some kind of "complete status" on the wishlist page would be very helpful.

Most manga on my wishlist are "parked" there because the scanlation has not started or is very slow/irregulary/close to the end, so I wait for it to complete first. I would like to have an easy overview which ones are done when I search for something to read smile

It might be nice if once a series has been completely scanlated, the latest chapter indicator i.e. (c.47) turns green showing the final chapter instead of red.

If you change the whole text colour to indicate status, might as well go the whole way, something like green for finished, regular, orange for not scanlated at all (useful for scanlaters looking for new projects, etc).

Personally, I would like a PM instead of email. But otherwise, I think this is a great idea. I usually put series under "wish," and leaving it until it ends... except I don't actually know when that is. laugh

I would appreciate that because I'm usually waiting for a series to finish to read the whole thing thru without interuptions. Right I'm waiting for a few mangas and it is taking forever. mad

Yes, I don't really care about how to get noticed. Mail/PM/highlight in wish list/confused, all perfectly fine. The easiest one to implement perhaps... smile
