i dunno if anyone else has suggested this but here goes:

how about a tag (? i don't know how else to name it...) that indicates if a scanlation of a series is active or inactive... kinda like the one mentioned in the profile of the groups.

The reason of me suggesting this is because some series that i like have been stuck in the same chapter for a year or more, so in order to know if i should move them from my reading list to the unfinished list or the new type of list "on hold" (btw good job)... i would like to have the truth (even if it breaks my heart lol)

for example you could call the scanlation inactive if there haven't been releases for over a year an d a half, but still if a group is working with that series but many more make some kind of annotation (?) I'm still trying to make it work on my mind this little detail...

i honestly swear this is not me trying to be lazy in investigating the status of the scanlation groups, but I'm trying to be more organized...

so what do you think? smile?

Mata Ne!

But don't we have something like that?

When you click on a series page - I'll use Amatsuki as an example, then there's a certain amount of time written behind the releases. In this case, the last release of Amatsuki would be 19 days ago.

That's still pretty recent, right? So that indicator is enough to determine whether a series is active or not, I don't see the usefulness of your suggestion.

Unless I'm misinterpreting you or something. embarrassed

Haha i guess great minds think alike biggrin

Lol bigrazz

@Dr.Love: as you mention the feature is new, i hadn't seen it, so sorry about that... But what if a series hasn't had a release for over 6 months? Or if the group got tired of the series and dropped it? Or as i said before there's just too much scanlations going on but they still want to continue having the series?

Anyway i just wanted to suggest something i thought it'd be useful and that i had it on my mind for some time...
