Some kind of protection relationship of my Facebook and Google is reporting Mangahere is an "attack" site. It looks fine and works fine via Safari. Does anyone know anything about this?
Personally, I'm suspicious of this report because I am always alert to the possibility that publishers will try to cripple scanlation sites.

Are we allowed to talk about aggregator sites on MU? Regardless, because of the demographic here, most of us don't like or frequent most aggregator sites, so I doubt you'll find anyone who knows or cares about the status of mangahere.

Yeah, I'm getting a "dangerous website" warning too, for the last two days now. I wouldn't worry about it too much, they've gotten some kind of malware or something on the site and will get it cleared off once they realize it's there. It's not something that hasn't happened before, I saw the same thing happen on gogoanime a week or so ago, they got it cleared up like the next day in that case, and I've seen it on mangahere as well before though it's been a while ago.
Just go somewhere else to read until it doesn't give you the warning when you try to go there, it probably won't be long, I'd personally say it's the safest thing to do

Thanks, svines85. I have been getting worried about scanlation ever since I've seen MU being attacked because, seriously, I bet some manga publishers, here and in Japan, would like to undermine scanlation—and could conceivable hire folks to disrupt sites.

If they shut down, I wouldn't shed a tear.

Not really, no, but out of all of 'em they and their buddy MF are the least likely to, I think they must make a fair amount of money at it.
And they were okay just now, though they were messed up there for a couple of days........and yes, I do keep at least a passing eye on a number of composite reader sites along with the many scan group sites, it's always best to have at least an idea of what's going on around the community I think
