The sad part, to me, is this deserved(?) a news posting? Glad it ended.

I heard that there was going to be an Iron-man anime in the fall so maybe that's something to look forward to.

I agree with turbz. Why did this got an article? It's not like it's that important or anything. There are like a billion (okay, I'm exaggerating I know, but still) manga better than this one. (well expect for that Lucky Star crap then, K-ON! is suprisingly better than that.)

A good phrase in my language for this would be "opgeruimd staat netjes!". And that's exactly how it is. (in English this would be "good riddance" I think but I don't like that one that much tbh, it doesn't sounds as harsh or pissed off. but ah, I'm going off-topic now...)

Wow, so much hate. After this news post I started to read the manga, it's actually pretty fun. I loled on pretty much every chapter.

Stop talking about the anime, this is about the manga, they are different, the manga is funny, maybe not a masterpiece, but does not deserve the hatred caused by their adaptation to anime

Ya, it actually is really funny, the bad part is that when you continue reading, there is a point when it gets old and repetitive. It's hard to keep a funny manga going, but it's a fun light read, for a good while.

I just thought this was news which concerned the manga community; I mean, K-ON! readers would want to know that it's ending, right? I didn't think this many hate comments were going to pop up O_O

What about the time when Shugo Chara! was ending? If the series got a post, shouldn't any other manga series deserve one too, no matter how others think of it? This is for the sake of the manga creators who worked hard to release them.

That's my own opinion.

shugo chara was a shoujo comic to begin with, its supposed to be about girls talking. i think k-on gets so much hate because its a shoujo comic made for guys basically. its about girls talking, but its moe and the jokes are more geared toward male humor. same as lucky star. if you don't like it or don't get it, you probably also don't enjoy talking to girls or have many friends that are girls.

What? That's rude. To-LOVE Ru was, if not great, then, at least good. I'm looking forward to the spin-off, 'cause I thought it ended prematurely.

I'll have to make a mental note to try the manga when it ends. I really enjoyed the first season of K-on, haven't watched the second season yet. For those who haven't been enjoying the recent anime releases, maybe you should re-watch your old classics. I tend to do that when I get bored of the multiple series I try and none of them hook me. I'd like to say that although some of you didn't like the recent anime, there were a couple I enjoyed immensely. Working!, Hanamaru Kindergarten and Arakawa under the bridge were my favorite of the recent seasons and I wish they had all been longer. Mayoi Neko Overrun!, Angel beats and Sora no woto all had their good points as well as being enjoyable. I haven't watched many from this season but from the couple series I've watched Seitokai yakuindomo seems to be the most enjoyable so far. Some of you are being too harsh or maybe it's time you move on from anime if you can't seem to find anything enjoyable to watch?

Think about it for a sec. There's lots of manga that die off, especially if you think of all the 4koma that starts and then fades away. Just ignore whatever content it may be. It's quite something to end something where the author wants to.

And; to those that keep spouting crap such as manga > anime, I'm sure the manga wouldn't have got as far without the anime. Not many people knew about it before the anime aired.
