Hello! I usually base how much i like reading a manga or watching an anime by how much i love the protagonist/main character. So, i would like to see others opinions spreading across any genres. If you can't decide on a single favorite, then do a top 2/3/4/5/whatever will satisfy. Say the name of the character and then the series the character is from along with a brief description as to why. Mine is Gintoki Sakata from Gintama. I like how funny he is and the maturity he possess not to run away from taking on the responsibility to protect something/soneone.

Also, if there is already a topic like this then i am sorry.

I like Yankumi (Yamaguchi Kumiko) from Gokusen best. I like her strength, heart, determination and the way she handles situations.

Han Jee-Han from the Gamer because finally, someone actually figured it out, that giving us a decent, non-moronic, likeable protagonist, to be our eyes, ears and heart in the already pretty good world setup, is a damn good idea.

Maybe this would be a start of something.

An era without the need to make the protagonist so mind numbingly stupid (naruto, one piece, fairy tail, etc, etc, basically all shounen), angsty or clueless for the story to have a conflict.
