When a series is clicked, there is a section where other members can recommend similar manga or have the system do it automatically, maybe?.
Possibly have recommendations in not just storyline but artwork (If you liked this artwork, you'll like art from these other mangaka's.).

Sounds nice, but it would be hard to do ( I mean the system option), as it would require putting all titles in some new labelling system... 🤢

Second option, with sections: what do you understand by section in this case?
How about adding a "similar manga" threads to all the manga's forums? Under the global rules? We could post the recommendations for similar titles there.

Maybe not to all manga's forums, lol ( they'd be used in what, 5%? )...at least to the forums of rated manga.

Yeah it would be hard, but it might be possible to look at what other people are following and then identify some pattern. shrugs

It's not so easy...the system would need new info -> meaning the users would have to add that info ( by adding some titles they found similar to a certain manga and that would require a new feature in the user cp ). I see no other way of doing what you're talking about...

Following, for example, reading lists - would bring us nowhere.
