I have remembered a manga, possibly a romcom and likely slice of life/ high school life , but forgot the title. I do remember some certain details though. I think that chapter may be the first chapter. The characters are high school students. The boy is an otaku who wears glasses, although I am not sure he is an otaku. The girl might be his classmate, but I don't remember.

But I remember their conversation a bit somewhat vividly. I haven't read it in a long time, so my memory is hazy.

They are talking to each other in a restaurant, I think. I remember they are sitting aside a table facing each other.

When the girl admits her insecurity to him, complaining that she feels she looks plain, the boy shouts "Plain girls are cute."

Then the girl asks him, if he thinks she is also cute.

The boy explains. "No Way. You aren't plain at all. You are generic."

She asks "So you weren't trying to cheer for me?"

He replies, "For what?"

The girl gets silent.

That is all the details I can divulge. I appreciate it if you tell me the title of this manga. Thank you.

Actually, I just found the manga title only by coincidence, after noticing its anime counterpart.

It is called Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata. The details I mentioned were in the chapter 2.
