If i remember correctly Skull knight said to Gatts that maybe only he wants her memories returned and not her.If i am not mistaken it was said at the bitch at the <saga...> with his possible-8year-old-son

Not likely, probably for a few moments but not forever. If her memories would return this early, consider this manga finished.
