Lots of questions today..

But just wondering, say if a series got updated in terms of releases, but was not done from a group in your database - like it was an individual project or w/e, self-done - is it possible to still update the series's releases?
cuz you do need the name of the updater in order to add a new release, but the updater needs to be in your database..
Then, what would you put for the updater person? :/ Would you add him/her to the database? And if they don't have an IRC or website OR forum, what to do? D:

ALSO, what if someone scanned a chapter, but someone else took it and translated/qc-ed/edited it, whatever? Who would you put for the group, scanlator or translator? :/

..These problems are happening to me several times ^^"

Not too sure, but I've seen pages where the releases were credited to 'anonymous', so maybe...

Why is this in Recruitment anyways?...
Moved to Suggestions & Bugs

If the series is not licensed, you can just add a download link for the release. If the series is licensed, there must be a group entry in our database that has either a website, forum, or IRC channel. If the group isn't in the database, add it, and you'll be notified if it's been approved or not.

"Anonymous" or any equivalent is not considered a group name

If the "group" is just a single person (or several unrelated individuals), the "group name" for the group entry in the database is typically the name of the editor (as nowadays, raws and translations are readily available to the public for any use). Some people also use the & to have the "group name" as both the editor and the translator
