I like bleach, and I don't know whether or not this could be seen as a flaw or not, but I think one of the problems with it is the over abundance of characters.

With all the good guys and all the bad guys it leads to a lot of fights. Which isn't exactly a bad thing, but recently the chapters are often split between two or more fights so you only make a little progress on each fight in one chapter.

With all these fights its taking forever to finish off an arc so theres really only been 2 main ones (the save rukia and the save orihime arcs), because of this imo its effected the development of the series a bit.

I think it'd go a lot better if they try and focus on fewer characters at a time.
