I, once again, can't remember a manga name. I read it some time ago and it sounds like post #459449 from dance_in_darkness.

The story goes that there is a pastry chef, I believe, that has a childhood friend that he takes care of. He comes to his friends apartment and feeds his friend since only his food can revive his friend. I also know that his friend had a patron in the beginning that left because the friend could not commit to her and she said something to the chef about how she wanted a lover not a son. I also know that eventually the friend starts to take care of himself better because he does not want to be a burden to his friend.
