No, I'm not. And I don't think of myself that way, honestly.
But, compared to some of the kiddies on here and the truths I know, I am. I don't think of Pokemon or Tetris as "old" games. The only game console I think of as "old" is the Atari 2600. =)

My father has had at least 2 PCs in the house ever since I can remember. (Very early 80s.) I have never lived in a house without a PC in it. While that statement isn't as impressive with children today because that's true for thousands more people than it used to be - most of those people aren't my age. At the time, that was a really rare thing.

I could play Arcade games like Pitfall, Donkey Kong, Qbert, Pacman, etc. on my home computer when I was 7 or 8 - think: at the time that Star Wars: Return of the Jedi was being originally released in theaters. It used a cassette tape deck as a "disc" drive - most of the kids on here have never even heard of doing such a thing with a cassette tape. (Hell, some of the kids on here have never had to use a cassette tape.)

There aren't too many people who can say that. So yeah, in a way, "old". I don't know that I'll ever think of myself as truly old, though. =)

Oh, and I adored playing "Joust" on my PC too!! Thanks for the reminder, Acadine Star. 🤣

Baldur's Gate 2, Mario 64, Age of Mythology, Chrono Trigger, and Legend of Dragoon were some of my favorites that I will occasionally replay.

Some times I dust off the old SNES and put in Killer Instinct or some Street Fighter with my bro or I'll play Chrono Trigger or maybe this really crappy game that is basically a rip off of tetris.

Kirby Superstar, one of the best games I've ever played.

Donkey Kong Country 3 and Donkey Kong 64.

Actually, most games I play are old ones, because they tend to be much better than the games of today.

Anyway, I play a lot of Cave Story nowadays (if that can be counted as an "old" game...).
