A lot of people seem to put porn into a group of it's own, which isn't always incorrect, but there are times when it is there IN ADDITION TO, as opposed to being the main thing.

Take Berserk for example, there is porn in Berserk, but Berserk is not porn. Yaoi is not some magical exception. If there are pornographic scenes, those scenes are porn, no matter how good the story.

Dammit, I just forgot where I was going with this.

My point has probably already been stated in here somewhere anyway.

So, writings about sexuality and love always means porn? Erotic just means that.

Heck, the R-rated film, The Reader (I dislike it) but that is movie is erotic and its not porn. It has a full-body nude man in it, and it is still not categorized as porn.


(I think this topic maybe should be in the Yaoi/Yuri forums since we could get more fujoshi and fudanshi to vote)
