I'm a hygiene freak, so I always have tissues with me. I blow or pick my nose discreetly into/with a tissue, and then neatly wrap it in another tissue and throw it out. Then, I wash my hands or use antibacterial gel on them.

Honestly, how pathetic is that... but it's true. I'd never pick my nose any other way, in public or not.

Never in public. I only do it when I'm by myself. My brother however, does it whenever and wherever he pleases. It's so embarrising when we're out in public when he does that. >>;
