The story goes something like, this girl was born in a prison where her mother dies, and her mother's friend raises the girl, and then the girl gets released and hunts down someone seeking vengence.
I think this is a manga, it might be an asian movie though.. I watched this korean flick "Lady vengence" and it reminded me of it.
