Its a real soft core BL. On the verge of being more Shounen Ai than actual yaoi. There is alot of biting, sucking, really intentional and very erotic scenes that are just as good as smex. Lots of images that evoke sexual acts. Biting in itself is extremely sexual.

Yeah, they love each other, but its a little complex to say the least. Neither are honest about their feelings until the very, very sexy end. (Btw both are vampires.)

Yes Vassalrod is BL, but it depends what you label as BL or what are you searching for in BL (ie. why are you asking).

If it's for the confession, yes they confess, but not with the actual "I love you" (as far as I can remember) but the scene cannot be misinterpreted in any other way than love, also they confession many times with super complicated in between the lines prior as well though.

You're asking because of sex? Well you wont see much of that in it, accept for 3 pages at the end of tankobon version (those pages were not published in magazine). As through out the story, let's just say it's going as far as Free is going with showing naked bodies. It's all there but you don't see it/your cut off. It's also never specifically said or indicated if they do it until the last pages as it's mostly covered up with "I need to bite you cause I'm hungry".

As for fanservice... it has it, a lot. And that is both male x male and female x female (but the yuri counterpart is significantly smaller of course).

Like I said, it really depends why you're asking.
If you're ok with borderline-BL stuff than go for it. Cause while their "bl-like happening" is important to the whole story the actual story goes way beyond that, but if you don't like hints of BL, that run away.
