AN emo.
And the term 'emo' refers to the emotive hardcore scene that appeared in the 90's. The modern use refers to the 'scene' image and a type of 'sensitivity' that is mainly associated with middle class suburban teens who listen to My Chemical Romance and Simple Plan (neither of which are actually emo).
